Ok, this is post about 3 diferents Angel Dust from Germany, France and Holland.

Angel Dust [Germany (Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia)] formed in 1984. In 1985 they record first demo-tape Marching for Revenge [Thunder War/Watch Out/Angel Dust/Bang Your Head/Marching for Revenge/Dixie]. Material on this produkt is high-speed THRASH metal with some teutonik metal shool influenced. For fans of Living Death and other german speed-metal bands it's good.

In next (1986) year band record second demo. Track-list: Legions of Destruction/Marching for Revenge/Into the Dark Past. Here was recording 2 new tracks and re-recording version Marching for Revenge. For music not changes and it's was bay-area thrash/melodik speed metal connection. All this tracks also was recording for first full-length and i not think for more words need here.

Angel Dust [France (Nîmes, Languedoc-Roussillon)] was formed in 1984 and band record 2 demo-tapes in 1987 (4 track Maniack demo & 6 track Suicide Rocket demo). For music it's heavy/thrash with epic elements.

1987 - Maniac [Wild as Hell/Night Claws/Blues in the Kitchen/Maniac Prowler]

First demo strats with Wild as Hell track and this is primitive heavy metal. This track remind me Venom and Tank. Replaying riff and standart solo, but in all this no bad track, and vox on this remind me Lemmy hehe. Night Claws is slow-temp power metal. For me it's very long and boring. Instrumental Blues is 2 minuts improvisation on guitar with as slow as fast riffing and taping with second distortion blues-riff part. Last track Maniac Prowler is standart heavy number, no bad as no good.

Can't say what this demo absolutly loser, but this primitive riffs killed all good idea.

Suicide Rocket it's absolutly other work. More tech and speed riffs with fukkn good vox, recorded also in 1987. Tracklist: Venom/Streetfighters/Hospital/Steel Legion/Killers and Butchers/Headreaper/.

First track is Venom - fukkn fast speed attak in UK Warfare vein. Streetfighters also fast thrash metal track. Then Hospital opened with slow intro, slow solo (fukkn slow and sound after solo part remind me Cliff Burton - Pulling Teeth), but after scream "Let's Go" here starting hellish speed-metal hehe. In the middle of track starting long (3 min) mid-temp solo (in power-metal vein) returning after end into speed metal. This composition have 08:47 playing time and this not look as too tightened. Steel Legion also speedish track with evil vox. And in the mid-part temp down to epic/power with fast solo backing in begining speed. Killer & Butchers is fukkn strong power-metal trakk with hard, no fast riffs and good vox. And in final here fast heavy metal attack on Headreaper.

With no compromise opion i think this work much better than Maniac Demo.

Angel Dust [Netherlands (Emmer-Compascuum, Drenthe)] was formed in 1983 and in 1985 change name to Asgard. Band record 3 demo-tapes.

First demo We Honour Black Religion was record in 1984 and have 4 trakks in power/trash metal style with pseudo-satanik liriks. Tracklist: Hymn To Satan/March Of The Demon/Race To Hell/Witche's Brew.

Opened Hymn To Satan start with short intro and devil laughter transforming into mid-temp power metal with replaying riff. In mid part of track start playing only drums and on this backgorund starting solo, not long and fast, after musik return to mid-temp. Next trakk March Of The Demon playing much faster, good thrash metal with aggresive vox,and last part here is killer. Race to Hell is speed instrumental with swirled solo in mid-part and powerfull THRASH metal riff. Last track Witche's Brew (also re-recording later for Asgard - In the Ancient Days LP) starting with acustic intro and than mid-temp power metal. Not bad trakk with strong power-metal parts we have here.

Strong and good first release for band.

In 1985 band record next demo called Pray for Metal with tracklist The Philosopher Stone/We Wanna Rock Yah/Before The Morning/Lady Of The Lake/Pray For Metal/A Black Rabbit Dies For Its Country.

This is typical power metal, only two tracks is fast here and it's Before The Morning (also re-recording later for Asgard - In the Ancient Days LP)...rectilinear speed metal with power-metal and fast solos. And Pray For Metal good instrumental with thrash metal riffs and melodic solo.

For this demo band play much more in Power Metal style.

Arsonal Fury - 1987 - Demo

Tracklist: Axed / Infected Brains / Toxic Waste / Fall to Ruins

Arsonal Fury from Venice (L.A.) playing fukkn fast thrash metal on their debut demo-tape. Axed is first punch in u skull with killer speed riffs and klassik for thrash vox! Next track is Infected Brains have as fast as mid-temp riffs with many solos and aggressive lead for fukkn headbanging yeah! Go forward for Toxic Waste...hellish speed & heavy riffs...klassik for THRASH METAL!!! And last track Fall to Ruins strat with slow-intro comes into powerfull thrash metal with good speed and solo!!!

My opinion for thiz - FUKKN GOOD!!! For thrash maniaks this tape fukkn brilliant!!!

4/5
Dark Deception - 1988 - Sadistic Intentions Demo

Tracklist: Sadistic Intentions/Spandex Fags/Final Hour/Nocturnal Aggression/Tormented Souls

Killer stuff for thrash maniak. Fast and fukkn aggressive thrash metal material on thiz demo-tape from 1988.

High weight thrash metal in best vein of early Exodus and Dark Angel with power moments and without other compromise for totaling headbangers. Demo start with powerful track Sadistic Intentions... 3 minuts thrashing madness with fast riffs, good solo and klassic thrash vox! Next Spandex Fags - for moshers maniak, fasting thrash composition in my opinion best for live gigs...hehe, returning to thrashing roots on third position Final Hour, band show how need play THRASH METAL!!! All from guitar riffs till vox is KLASSIC what back u in early days. Nocturnal Aggression is another GEM on this tape, with little slow riffing this powerfull mid-temp thrash metal. In the end last track Tormented Soul...good thrash/power metal here! This another classik composition with fast solos and good power vox.

In total i recomend thiz tape for all who liked mixed of fast thrash/power metal!

Disciples of Power - 1988 - Power of Death Demo

Tracklist: Shades Of Grey/Power Of Death/Disciples Of Power/Bitch Of Doom

Powerful mix of Slayer "Reign In Blood" vein thrash metal and classik speed/power metal, many temp changes sometimes can fukk you brains, but in all it's good stuff.

First song start with slow-melodik intro and then transformation in fast thrash metal, but vokals for this give me mad. Total T.Araya copied and little slow-parts is shit, clear solo in the end not bad, but short. Next track - instrumental Power of Death is classik thrash metal with speed/power part in solo and also with many temp changes from fast to medium and fast back. On 3rd Disciples Of Power band play aggressive fast thrash metal and vokal now ok for speed/power. Maybe only solo in this track little slow for me, but all another no bad. Last track again remind me Slayer with hardcore influence, and vokalist realy good.

3/5 not much for thiz... no bad in all.
